Dr. Brett Maune is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Maune Fund Management, LLC. Dr. Maune’s finance career started at Goldman Sachs as a quantitative strategist. He was later an options trader at Susquehanna International Group and Director of Risk Management at Longtail Alpha. Brett is an ultramarathon runner and has broken multiple records including on the John Muir Trail, Mount Whitney, and is a two-time finisher and record holder of the Barkley Marathons. He has also been a professional NLHE poker player.

Dr. Maune has a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Caltech and has conducted research in photonics and quantum computing.
